You’ve no doubt seen the #BlackpoolHasItAll adverts lately so we nipped over to Blackpool to check out the Blackpool Tower Circus using our Blackpool Resort Pass Plus.

The Blackpool Resort Pass Plus  is a brilliant money saving pass that allows you entry into eight different Blackpool attractions including Blackpool Tower and although the circus isn’t part of the Blackpool Resort Pass you can add bolt-on circus tickets for the discounted price of £10 per adult and £8 per child.

It’s over 30 years since I’ve been to a circus and the kids have never been, if I’m honest it never crossed my mind to take them, I kinda thought they’d bored and OMG I couldn’t have been more wrong! The Blackpool Tower Circus is completely amazing and I promise you’ll leave with a warm fuzzy glow.

Right from taking your seat in the circus theatre it feels exciting!

The circus is housed at the bottom of Blackpool Tower in a beautifully ornately decorated theatre, there’s loads of seat and you’d get a great view of the show from any of them. It’s total old style vintage glamour, just sit and soak it up.

The circus show is a hugely entertaining mix of acts with Mooky and Mr Boo the clowns leading the show. And they’re really genuinely funny in a old-school, feel good family fun way. They involve the audience in lots of their jokes and routines. Total belly laughs!

The acrobatic displays were completely amazing! The trapeze artists are super skilled and daring and you’ll definitely be holding your breath as they perform their stunts! And the best thing is it’s all so close up and real, thoroughly exciting. The arrow shooting and knife throwing had us on the edge of our seats, such breathtaking skill.

And of course the grand finale is a water spectacular! The circus floor sinks down and ring fills with gallons of water in literally seconds!

Honestly it’s a brilliant day out with the kids. You’ll be completely entertained from start to finish. It’s a real fun packed show with all the warm vintage glamour you’d expect from Blackpool Tower. Hand on heart it’s most definitely worth the trip and we can’t wait until we can visit again.
