At this time of year Dettol features highly in my cleaning routine.
I’m not a germophobe, I’m a big believer in exposing kids to muck and dirt and building immunity but when it comes to Flu and Norovirus and nasty bugs like that I just I like to take practical and effective steps to reduce the risk of my family getting sick.
So my winter cleaning routine gets a little kick of Dettol.
- Wipe door knobs and light switches with Dettol antibacterial surface cleanser spray a couple of times a week.
- Clean toilets, sinks and taps with Dettol antibacterial surface cleanser spray every day
- Have Dettol hand wash with E45 by all sinks – I like clean hands but with moisturising E45 softness.
- Clean kitchen surfaces and tables with Dettol antibacterial surface cleanser spray every day and always, always after preparing raw chicken. I’m super careful when cleaning up after preparing raw chicken and use Dettol antibacterial surface cleanser to clean the work surface, any chopping boards, knives and the kitchen sink.
Just for the record I’m definitely a kicker.
Keeping nasty bugs at bay is all part of a good housework routine.
