Jam jar flowers are one of my favourite things, beautifully rustic, effortlessly stylish and so quick to make. I love to have a couple of jam jars with flowers around the home. I adore their rustic boho charm.
You can buy jam jars especially or if you’re like me you can just re-purpose any empty jam jars you’ve squirrelled away for using in a future craft project.
When it comes to filling them, just put in whatever flowers make you happy.
I like a herby collection for on the kitchen windowsill – little sprigs of deliciously scented rosemary, perhaps a few stems of lavender, sprigs of thyme, gypsy grass and a couple of stems from whatever happens to be in bloom in the garden.
The beauty of jam jar flowers is you really don’t need very much to make one, even if you are buying the flowers especially you’ll only need a few bits and pieces.
Jam jar flower bouquets are a really cheap way of brightening up a room or using to decorate for little parties or gatherings. You can embellish the jam jars with ribbon or burlap or fabric just to add a little extra lovely touch.
My favourite jam jar flower bouquets.
