REVIEW

You’ll be relieved to hear everything is still AWESOME!

We headed on over to LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre at the Trafford Centre this weekend to watch the new LEGO® Movie™ 4D “A New Adventure”. This fab 12 minute film reunites our favourite characters from the original film – Emmet, Wyldstyle, Unikitty, MetalBeard and Benny in a thrilling new mini adventure.

An action packed film that takes our heroes on a visit to a new theme park where they’re hurled into the middle of an evil plot devised by the cunning new character Risky Business. It’s down to Emmet and Wyldstyle along with the Master Builder skills of the audience to try to save the day. Throw in the amazing 4D effects, wind, lighting, smoke and water and it totally immerses you into the film providing a unique, interactive experience.

A big thumbs up from the kids!

If you’re making plans for the Easter school holidays – then heading over to LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre at the Trafford Centre makes for a great day out the kids will just LOVE!

There’s a whole host of attractions alongside the 4D film. We just loved the Factory Tour, and zapping evil skeletons and giant trolls on the Kingdom Quest ride. Burn off some energy in the LEGO® City Fire Academy, a brilliant jungle gym facility. In fact, the kids are pretty happy to stay in there for hours, so it’s a great time to take advantage of the cafe and refuel with caffeine.

Try out some driving skills in the LEGO® City Forest Pursuit driving adventure. The kids get to drive around in their own off-road LEGO vehicles, pretty cool! Take a trip or two on Merlin’s Apprentice ride – you’ll really have to pedal hard if you want to reach the top!

The kids were more than impressed with the stroll through MINILAND especially the LEGO Blackpool Tower, definitely sparked a little LEGO model building envy. Popping into a real life LEGO house was pretty cool AND it has karaoke! Not sure our popstar singing was up to much though…

Add to that the various build and test zones, earthquake tables and duplo farm, the kids just won’t know what to do first!

To plan your visit and to get up to date information on tickets, opening times and attractions head on over to the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre website.

LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre invited us to the VIP launch of the new 4D movie and to enjoy the Discovery Centre free of charge.
