Equipment Needed
- Air fryer – we use a Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer – the 9.5 litre two drawer cooking space is BRILLIANT when you’re cooking for a family. And it makes cooking larger portions of meat, chicken or fish and potatoes at the same time super easy!
- Food thermometer – I totally recommend getting yourself a food thermometer, especially for air frying, it really gives me peace of mind when cooking. I like to know that food is cooked to the right temperature.
- Mixing bowl
- American measuring cups
- Tablespoon

- Silicone cooking spoon - so you don't scratch the air fryer lining when serving up!

How To Make Air Fryer Chicken Stir Fry
Oh, you're going to love how nice and easy this stir fry is to make!

Step One - marinate the chicken and vegetables
- Take a large bowl or dish and throw in the diced chicken, red peppers, baby corn and scallions (spring onions)
- Pour over the sesame oil and ½ cup hoisin sauce. Give everything a good mix and toss together so that it all gets coated in delicious flavors. You don't need to add salt as the hoisin sauce and soy sauce to serve will by salty enough.

Step Two - air fry the chicken stir fry
- Put the chicken stir fry mixture into a single layer in the air fryer basket - we use both drawers in the Ninja - you may need to cook in batches if your air fryer isn't large enough.

- Cook on 400F/200C on the air fry setting for around 12-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through properly (remember larger chicken pieces will take longer to cook than smaller ones)
- Shake the basket every 4-5 minutes throughout cooking.
Step Three - serve the air fryer chicken stir fry
- Once fully cooked - tip into a serving bowl, pour on the rest of the hoisin sauce and give it a quick stir. Then serve.

What To Serve With Air Fry Chicken Stir Fry For Dinner
Okay, so when we are keeping this a quick dinner, we usually add Tilda microwave egg fried rice sachets, because they cook in TWO MINUTES and who doesn't love that for a lazy weeknight?!
I also add in some prawn crackers and sweet chilli dipping sauce, because it's so delicious.
If you wanted to add in some extra veggies, but quickly, then I'd opt for the Birds Eye steam fresh bags you can ping in the microwave, to keep it speedy.
If you have time you could serve with some stir fry vegetables.
