Equipment Needed To Make Herby New Potatoes In The Air Fryer

  • Chopping board 
  • Knife
  • Bowl
  • Tablespoon 
  • Teaspoon

Ingredients For Air Fryer New Potatoes With Italian Herbs

  • 500g new potatoes – scrubbed and dried
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic granules
  • 2 tsp onion granules
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch black pepper
  • Zest of a lemon

How To Make Air Fryer New Potatoes

This delicious air fried potato side dish is super easy to make, no faff, just easy steps and big flavours!

Step One – season the potatoes

  • Slice the new potatoes into quarters, and toss into a bowl.
  • Drizzle over the oil and scatter over the dried garlic, onion, oregano and parsley. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • Toss everything together so that the potatoes are well coated with oil and Italian herbs.

Step Two – air fry the new potatoes

  • Tip the potatoes into the air fryer basket. And cook on the roast setting for 160C for 15 minutes – be sure tho shake the basket every 6-7 minutes, this just makes sure the potatoes cook evenly.

Cooks Note! Cooking the potatoes at a lower temperature for the first 15 minutes, give the potatoes chance to cook through to the middle before the outsides crisp up too much.

  • After the first 15 minutes, put the heat up to 200C and continue to cook on the roast setting for a further 10-15 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through properly, the centres are soft when you prod them with a knife. And the outsides are crispy, golden and looking super tasty.

Step Three – add the fresh herbs and lemon zest

  • To finish the herby new potatoes side dish, tip the freshly cooked potatoes into a serving bowl and scatter with lemon zest and chopped flat leaf parsley.

Super delicious air fried new potatoes bursting with Italian flavours

Ingredients

  • 500g new potatoes
