Mmmm snuggle up on a cold day with a steaming hot mug of rich, creamy Baileys Hot Chocolate and warm up from the inside!

Oh there’s something very warm and comforting about coming home after a cold wintery walk and treating yourself to a luxurious Baileys Hot Chocolate.

We top our hot Baileys drink with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Simple and delicious!

Baileys Hot Chocolate Ingredients

For the chocolate Baileys drink

  • 400ml full fat milk
  • 100ml Baileys

For the hot chocolate topping

  • Can of squirty cream
  • 30g Milk Chocolate – to grate

Equipment Needed

  • Milk pan (or jug if you’re using the microwave to warm the milk)
  • 2 cups
  • Teaspoon
  • Shot measure
  • Grater

How To Make Baileys Hot Chocolate

Okay, this is a super easy way to make hot chocolate and Baileys

Step One – Warm the milk

  • Pour the milk into a saucepan and warm slowly over a low heat on the hob.
  • Alternatively – pour the milk into a microwave safe jug and heat on high for approximately 2 minutes or until the milk is hot.

Step Two – Make the Baileys alcoholic hot chocolate

  • Add the Cadbury hot chocolate powder to the pan of hot milk and stir to mix it into a lovely creamy drink.
  • Pour a 50ml shot of Baileys into each cup
  • Top up with the hot chocolate drink

Step Three – Add the Baileys chocolate drink toppings

  • Top the Baileys chocolate drink with squirty cream
  • Grate over some chocolate shavings

Step Four – Serve your hot chocolate with Baileys

Snuggle up on the sofa under some blankets and wrap your hands around your mug of rich, creamy hot Baileys.

  • 400ml full fat milk
  • 100ml Baileys
  • 2 tbs whipped cream (squirty cream from a can)
  • 30g Milk Chocolate

  1. Pour the milk into a saucepan and warm slowly over a low heat on the hob.
