Equipment Needed
- Tablespoon
- American Measuring Cups (or use a teacup)
- Saucepan
- Glass or metal bowl
- Metal spoon
- Rolling pin
- Greaseproof paper (or parchment paper)
- Small saucepan or microwavable cup/container for the peanut butter
Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark Ingredients
You'll only need three ingredients to make this delicious chocolate bark recipe

- 400g milk chocolate
- 2 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 cup peanuts
How To Make Peanut Butter Chocolate Bark
It's REALLY easy to make peanut butter chocolate bark! So simple!
Step One - melt the chocolate
- Melt the chocolate in a glass or metal bowl over a pan of boiling water on the hob.

Step Two - smash the peanuts
- Whilst the chocolate is melting, bash the peanuts with a rolling pin to smash them up a little.
Step Three - prepare the cake tin
- Line a 9 inch square tin with greaseproof paper.
Step Four - make the peanut butter chocolate bark
- Pour the melted chocolate into the lined cake tin, and spread it to the edges. You can use a rubber spatula here to help if needed.

Step Five - warm the peanut butter
- Warm the peanut butter in a small pan on the hob. You want the melted peanut butter to be easy to pour. (alternatively microwave for a few seconds)
Step Six - add the peanut butter to the chocolate
- Drizzle the warm peanut butter mixture over the melted chocolate and swirl it into the chocolate to make patterns in the layers. Your can use a fork, end of a knife or toothpick to do this.

Step Six - add the peanuts
- Sprinkle over the chopped peanuts.

Step Seven - let the peanut butter chocolate bark set
- Place the peanut butter bark recipe into the refrigerator and leave to set for around 3-4 hours before breaking into pieces. The peanut butter won't set hard, it will firm up but not set hard like the chocolate.

Recipe Tips And Variations
Once you've got the basic chocolate bark sorted, you can just create any kind you like!
Try different chocolate - you can make chocolate bark using any chocolate, milk, dark chocolate or white. You can even try flavoured chocolate (chocolate orange makes fantastic chocolate bark!)
Sprinkle on any nuts - you don't need to just stick to peanuts, you can add any nuts you like - try pistachios, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts or flaked almonds.
Add in some extras - get creative with your toppings. Try pretzel pieces, jelly sweets, sea salt, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, candy, edible glitter, sprinkles dried fruit like raisins or cranberries.

How To Store Chocolate Peanut Butter Bark
Well this comes down to personal choice. I like chocolate at room temperature so store it in an airtight container on the kitchen side. If you like your chocolate cold and hard from the fridge just keep in in the fridge, ready for snacking!
