How To Make Easy Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Step One - preheat the oven and prepare the bread rolls

  • Preheat the oven to 400F/200C.
  • Cut the dinner rolls in half - cut all 6 at once, don't pull them apart or separate them. Place the bottom half of the rolls onto a baking tray or fit into a baking dish.
  • Spread over the ranch sauce.

Step Two - mix up the buffalo chicken filling

  • Toss the shredded chicken breast in buffalo sauce - use more sauce if you like.
  • Add a layer of grated cheese on top of the ranch dressing.
  • Spread the buffalo chicken mixture over the cheesy ranch soaked bread rolls.
  • Sprinkle over more grated cheese. Put the top slice of the bread rolls on the top to sandwich everything together.

Step Three - make the garlic and herb butter glaze

  • To make the butter coating - melt the butter in a small pan with the grated garlic and parsley. Stir everything together. If you prefer you can use garlic powder in place of fresh garlic.
  • Then brush the herby garlic melted butter over the top of the bread rolls, and around the sides if you have enough.

Step Four - bake the Buffalo Chicken Sliders

  • Then bake the buffalo chicken sliders in the oven for around 20 minutes or until the chicken is reheated to a minimum temperature of 75C and the tops of the rolls are turning deliciously golden.

(IMPORTANT - always reheat chicken thoroughly according to latest food safety guidelines and check its heated properly throughout before eating)

  • Once cooked through - remove the sliders and dig in!

Make Ahead, Storage, and Freezing

Okay, so we never make Buffalo chicken sliders ahead of time, they go super soggy. BUT, what we regularly do is prepare all the fillings and keep them in the fridge, so that all we're left with is a few minutes prep and they're ready to bake.

You can prep the Buffalo chicken filler up to 24 hours ahead - shred the chicken, toss in the sauce and then just store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Additionally grate the cheese and store that in an air tight container too, so all that's left to do is make up the sliders and bake.
