Chilli Sausage Roll Ingredients
You’ll only need FIVE ingredients to make this delicious, spicy sausage roll recipe.
- 320g Puff Pastry Sheet – we use Jus-Rol
- 6 pork sausages
- 3 tbs chilli jam
- 1 egg – beaten
- 1 tbs sesame seeds

- Greaseproof paper
- Sharp knife
- Small bowl or cup
- Fork
- Pastry brush

How To Make Chilli Sausage Rolls
Our spicy sausage rolls are super easy to make!
- Preheat the oven to 200C / 400F / Gas Mark 6
- Line the baking tray with a sheet of greaseproof paper
- Unroll the puff pastry sheet and slice into 6 equal portions
- Remove the sausage skins – use a sharp knife to slice lengthways along the sausage then peel back the skin and flip out the sausage meat.
- Make the chilli sausage rolls – add a line of chilli jam in the centre of the puff pastry squares, lie the sausage on top. Brush the pastry edges with the egg wash and roll them around the sausage.
- Place the sausage rolls seam side down on the baking tray – brush the tops with beaten egg. Then make several indentations the length of the sausage roll and sprinkle over the sesame seeds.
- Bake the chilli sausage rolls in the oven for 30-40 minutes – or until the sausage is cooked through properly and the puff pastry risen and golden.
