- Chopping board
- Knife
- Tablespoon
- Cooking spoon
- Saucepan
- Serving dish
Chorizo In Red Wine Ingredients – Easy Tapas
You really only need a handful of tasty ingredients to make this simple Spanish chorizo recipe!
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 clove garlic – finely chopped
- 1 red onion – finely chopped
- 200g chorizo – sliced into discs
- 1 tbsp honey – we usually use hot honey for a little extra kick of spice!
- 200ml red wine
- Handful of fresh parsley – roughly chopped.

How To Cook Chorizo In Red Wine
It’s super simple to make our delicious chorizo tapas recipe
Step One – sauté the garlic and onions
- Add a splash of olive oil to a saucepan and gently sauté the garlic and onions.
Step Two – start the fried chorizo
- Tip in the discs of chorizo and fry for around 5-8 minutes over a low heat until they start to ooze the lovely paprika spiced oil.
Step Three – add the sticky honey to make honey chorizo
- Add the honey and stir into the fried chorizo until it’s warm and sticky.
Step Four – pour the red wine into the chorizo
- Pour the wine over the chorizo and bring to the boil, continue to simmer gently until most of the wine evaporates and you’re left with a reduced sauce.
Step Five – serve the Chorizo con Vino
- Tip the little Spanish sausages in red wine sauce into a dish and scatter with fresh parsley.

Chorizo In Red Wine - Easy Chorizo Sausage Recipe

Classic tapas dish
Ingredients
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic - finely chopped
- 1 red onion - finely chopped
- 200g chorizo - sliced into discs
- 1 tbsp honey
- 200ml red wine
- 2 tbs chopped flat leaf parsley
Instructions
- Add a splash of olive oil to a saucepan and gently sauté the garlic and onions for a couple of minutes.
- Tip in the discs of chorizo and fry for around 5-8 minutes over a low heat until they start to ooze the lovely paprika spiced oil.
- Drizzle the honey over the chorzio and warm until it's sticky.
- Pour over the wine and bring to the boil, continue to simmer gently until most of the wine evaporates and you're left with a reduced sauce.
- Tip into a serving dish and scatter with fresh parsley.
