Banana milkshake with ice cream

Really easy banana milkshake with ice cream made using just four ingredients and it tastes like banoffee pie!

Our super easy creamy banana milkshake is so quick and simple to make.

And did we mention it tastes like liquid banoffee pie?

This is the kids favourite milkshake and one they love to make themselves too.

Best of all you only need four ingredients and just a couple of minutes to whizz up these creamy milkshakes.

If you can't find clotted cream ice cream just use plain vanilla.

Banana milkshake ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas - choose nice ripe bananas, but not the ones that have already turned brown.
  • 1 heaped scoop of vanilla ice cream I use Kelly's Clotted Cream Ice-Cream it's just so creamy and delicious, perfect for ice-cream shakes.
  • 1 cup milk - whole milk is best for giving milkshakes a nice, rich, creamy taste.
  • drizzle of maple syrup - use a proper maple syrup, not one of the flavoured syrups. The real maple syrup is what gives this ice-cream shake it's delicious banoffee flavour.

Make banana milkshake your way...

  • Sprinkle chocolate flakes on top.
  • Add in a handful of strawberries to up the fruit content.
  • Go lower fat and use fat free yogurt instead of clotted cream ice-cream.
