HOW TO MAKE CROCKPOT BBQ PULLED CHICKEN
- Simply lay the chicken breasts into the bottom of the crockpot bowl, sprinkle over the seasonings and then squirt or pour over the BBQ sauce until they're all covered. Then cook on high for around 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
- Then shred the chicken breasts using two forks, and put it back into the sauce and mix well and coat all the chicken in lovely BBQ flavors. Then serve the shredded chicken as you like - on soft buns with coleslaw, in rice bowls, as a taco filling or just with salads.
lt's also worth remembering that all slow cookers cook at slightly different temperatures and food can be cooked more quickly or slowly than we've stated. So it's always best to check the internal cooked temperature of the chicken before eating. Use a digital food thermometer to do this.

RECIPE TIPS AND INGREDIENT SWAPS
Use Chicken Thighs - you can make this recipe with skinless boneless chicken thighs if you prefer.
Add Some Extras - if you like your chicken with a kick of spice, add in some chilli powder or some chipotle seasoning before topping with BBQ sauce.
WHAT TO SERVE WITH CROCKPOT BBQ PULLED CHICKEN
Okay, so when I make this at home, the kids tend to have it as BBQ chicken sandwiches, with the shredded chicken stuffed into soft bread rolls, sometimes with melted cheese on too, slider style. I like to just eat the shredded BBQ pulled chicken with sweet potato wedges and creamy ranch slaw.
It's also lush loaded into baked potatoes with a dollop our sour cream and chive dip and buttery corn cob on the side.
