You can add in your favourite herbs and spices, and use whatever meat you fancy. I use a mixture of lean beef mince and smoky bacon. But often chopped chicken livers and sausage meat is used.
To get our easy Dirty Rice ready quickly we prep as we cook. That way we’re not wasting 10 minutes chopping when we could be chopping and cooking. It’s the best way to get dinner ready fast.
