How To Make Chicken Supreme
This is a really simple recipe to make, easy and quick enough for weeknight dinner
Step One - fry the onions and garlic
- Add the olive oil to a large skillet pan and gently fry the onions and garlic over a medium heat for 5-6 minutes until they start to soften.
Step Two - add the bacon
- Add the bacon and fry for 5 minutes (or until the bacon is cooked) Remove all the bacon, onions and garlic mixture from the pan using a slotted spoon.
Step Three - cook the chicken breasts
- Add the chicken breasts - fry until they're cooked through properly.
- Then add the stock pot, boiling water and pour in the cream. Stir everything together to combine into a tasty sauce. Simmer but don't boil.
Step Four - add the bacon and onions back
- Scrape the bacon, onions and garlic back into the pan. Cook everything for 5 minutes over a low heat, so that the sauce reduces and thickens slightly. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
Step Five - serve the chicken supreme
- To serve, scatter with some chopped flat leaf parsley and then serve the creamy chicken and bacon with your favourite side dishes.
