EASY EASTER CAKE INGREDIENTS

To make our easy Easter Cake you will need...

  • Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake mix (you can swap this for vanilla sponge, carrot cake or chocolate cake)
  • Betty Crocker Vanilla Icing - you can swap this for any frosting you like
  • Large Malteser Bunnies
  • Mini Malteser Bunnies
  • Cadbury mini eggs
    • Anything else you fancy throwing on - hey, this is your spring cake, you add on what you like - fancy some glitter? Throw it on, want some sprinkles, then shake away. Do it your way!

HOW TO MAKE AN EASY EASTER CAKE

You'll just LOVE how easy this mini egg chocolate cake is to make!

  • Mix up and bake the Betty Crocker red velvet cake as per the box instructions.
  • Once the cake is cool, cover in the vanilla icing, no need to be neat here, just slap it on, let the kids get involved.
  • Decorate the cake with chocolate bunnies, mini eggs and anything else you want. (see we told you it was easy!)

Make your own sponge cake - if you prefer homemade cake try our easy chocolate cake here. Or make this using carrot cake, lemon cake or coconut cake. You could even do lots of layers, sandwiched together with frosting or whipped cream.

  • 425g pack of Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake Mix
  • 400g tub Betty Crocker vanilla icing
  • 1 pack large Malteser bunnies 
  • 1 pack mini Malteser bunnies 
  • 200g Cadbury mini eggs 

Instructions

  1. Mix up and bake the Betty Crocker red velvet cake as per the box instructions.
  2. Once the cake is cool, cover in the vanilla icing, no need to be neat here, just slap it on.
  3. Decorate with bunnies and eggs.
