The kids wanted to do Easter bakes and this mama is all out of time and effort, but I still want to eat cake… so you can see the dilemma…

Easy Easter Cake Ingredients

To make our mini egg Easter bake you will need…

  • 425g pack of Betty Crocker Red Velvet Cake mix
  • 400g tub of Betty Crocker Vanilla Icing
  • 1 pack of large Malteser Bunnies
  • 1 pack mini Malteser Bunnies
  • 200g Cadbury mini eggs
  • Anything else you fancy throwing on – hey, this is your spring Cake, you add on what you like – fancy some glitter? Throw it on, want some sprinkles, then shake away. Do it your way!

How to make easy Easter Cake

  • Mix up and bake the Betty Crocker red velvet cake as per the box instructions.
  • Once the cake is cool, cover in the vanilla icing, no need to be neat here, just slap it on, let the kids get involved.
  • Decorate the cake with chocolate bunnies, mini eggs and anything else you want.
