Cooks Note! All slow cookers tend to cook at slightly different temperatures so it's a good idea to check food is cooked through properly with a food thermometer prior to eating.
Step Four - check the chicken is cooked through thoroughly
- Use a food thermometer to check that the chicken is cooked to a minimum of 75C at the fattest parts.

Cooks Note! A cooked chicken should have no pink meat remaining, the juices should run clear and it should have reached a core temperature of 75C. Always continue cooking a chicken until its cooked through properly.
