Our white chocolate nest cakes are a super simple, quick bake for children to get busy with in the kitchen this Easter.

Our easy white chocolate nest cakes are a really quick and simple cake with just three ingredients.

Making them a great little Easter bake for kids to make.

Everyone loves to make chocolate nest cakes and we like to make them with white chocolate as they just look so pretty all pastel coloured.

Although you can of course use milk chocolate – it’s equally yummy!

It’s so easy and children of all ages can enjoy making and eating these little white chocolate nest cakes.

Just be sure to supervise the chocolate melting part, to avoid any accidents.

White Chocolate Nest Cake Ingredients

You’ll only need three ingredients to make our delicious chocolate nest cakes!

  • 2 x 120g bars of white chocolate – I use Milky Bars, but any white chocolate will be great. Of course, you could use milk chocolate if you preferred.
  • 100g rice krispies – my kids prefer rice krispies in the nest cakes, but you could use cornflakes or even Cheerios.
  • 2 x 90g bags of mini eggs …. I pick up an extra bag too, just for nibbling as I bake.

  • Large saucepan
  • Large metal or glass bowl
  • Weighing scales
  • Dessert spoon
  • Cupcake cases

How To Make Chocolate Easter Nest Cakes

Oh you’re going to LOVE how simple these little Easter cupcakes are to make!

Step One – melt the chocolate

  • Bring a pan of water to the boil on the hob, then place a metal or glass bowl above it. Break the chocolate into the bowl and stir until melted.

Step Two – make the little chocolate nests

  • Tip in the rice krispies and stir to coat in chocolate.
  • Divide the chocolate between the cake cases, make a small hole in the middle and add a few mini eggs to each one.

Step Three – let the cakes set in the fridge

  • Put the cakes into the fridge for 20 minutes to chill and set the chocolate.

  • Choose different chocolate, try different flavours or even add food colour gel to the white chocolate for coloured nests.
