We’ve had a few weeks off meal planning but we’re back with a delicious week of family dinner recipes that we just can’t wait to cook and eat!
Monday – Quick Moroccan Lamb
I’ll make a quick spicy lamb dish using lamb mince with tomatoes, onions and Moroccan style spices. Served over boiled rice or couscous with a cucumber salad.
Tuesday – Butter Chicken
I’ll be cooking up the Butter Chicken recipe from Donna Hay – I love her food and this dish sounds perfect and mild enough for kids to enjoy to.
Wednesday – Turkey Chilli
I’ll be making a yummy chilli using turkey mince and serving in oven baked potatoes topped with cheese and soured cream.
Thursday – Chicken Casserole
I’m thinking a nice slow cooker chicken casserole served alongside roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and some green veggies. Grab our rustic chicken casserole recipe here.
Friday – Fish Pie
I’ll be making the easy fish pie from BBC Good Food – it’s just YUM!
Saturday – Cheat Spanish Chicken
Our quick cheat Spanish chicken rice dish is great for Saturdays – packed with big flavours and loads of cheats so it’s on the plate fast. Grab the Spanish Chicken Rice recipe here. I usually do this with garlic ciabatta slices and salad.
Sunday – Shepherds Pie
I’m skipping the hard work of a Sunday dinner this week and making shepherds pie instead – I’ll serve alongside garlicky cabbage and peas. Get the easy shepherds pie recipe here.
