A totally delicious meal plan this week, it’s filled with lovely autumn food. All the dinners are easy to prepare, easy to cook with the slow cooker doing some of the work. Perfect for feeding a family.
Monday – sausage, mash and onion gravy
I’ll use the slow cooker to make the sausages in onion gravy and just serve with mashed potato, maybe some greens. All easy and totally yum!
Tuesday – fish and chips
Really busy day today so it’s a cheat dinner from the chip shop.
Wednesday – chicken and sweetcorn pie
I’ll make an easy pie filling with chicken, vegetables and sweetcorn and top with a shop bought puff pastry sheet. Served with sweet potato fries and broccoli.
Thursday – tomato pasta bake
A rich, herby Italian tomato sauce, tossed through pasta, scattered with mini mozzarella balls and baked in the oven.
Friday – puff pizza tarts
Saturday – slow cooker chicken noodles
I’ll be making a spicy chicken satay sauce in the slow cooker and tossing through noodles to serve. Recipe for this should be up on Daisies & Pie this week, so be sure to check back.
Sunday – slow cooker brisket in onion gravy
One of most favourite cheat Sunday dinners. You’ll just fall in love with this recipe, it’s so easy and so yum! And for a properly easy day when I’m too busy to spend hours making dinner, I use Aunt Bessie Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and carrot & swede mash. Get the slow cooker brisket recipe here.
