This week the family meal plan is just bursting with delicious family style comfort food to really get into that autumn vibe.
Slow cooker spaghetti bolognese – easy vegetable packed slowly cooked rich bolognese sauce that I’ll toss into freshly cooked spaghetti and serve with broccoli and cabbage drizzled with a garlicky dressing.
Oven roast piri piri chicken – for this you can cheat and buy a roast in the bag seasoned chicken or you can rub your chicken with piri piri spice mix. Served with oven cooked French fries, peas and corn.
Quick dinner needed tonight so we’ll go for loaded baked potatoes, they’re super easy and need very little preparation. Check out our favourite baked potato toppings for ideas of what to load your potatoes up with.
Can’t beat a delicious shepherd’s pie for a warming autumn dinner. And our recipe is simply delicious. Easy to make and yummy.
Homemade fishcakes with salmon and loads of chopped parsley – served with green vegetables and a spicy tomato dip.
Welcome to lazy Saturday night TV dinner. Potato wedge melt – store cupboard (well with a little help from the freezer) the kids love this dinner. A heaped plate of melty, tuna scattered cheesy wedges with corn and peppers. Yum!
A little easy roast meat today, we’ve gone for pulled pork which will happily sit in the oven for hours. To serve just pull and stuff into brioche rolls with a lovely homemade autumn apple coleslaw.
