A weekly family meal plan filled with easy to make family dinner recipes that you’ll just LOVE as much as the kids do. I usually use cheats and little timesavers so that food is ready fast, especially weekday dinners, they need to be quick.
Monday – Cheat Lamb Pilaf
This is a really quick and cheat-y recipe, made using the leftover roast lamb from Easter Sunday – grab the lamb pilaf recipe here.
Tuesday – Chicken Strips and Fries
Super simple homemade chicken strips served with pimped up fries, salad and Nando’s style peas, this is a dinner the kids just LOVE. Grab the chicken strip recipe here.
Wednesday – Burgers and Wedges
I’m cheating with this one and buying the burgers and wedges ready made – just adding a salad and some BBQ beans.
Thursday – Sweet Chilli Chicken
Sweet chilli chicken wraps are totally delicious, quick to make and a dinner the kids love! We like this with homemade salt & pepper Chinese style chips, but you can also serve with a nice veggie rice. Get the sweet chilli chicken wrap recipe here.
Friday – Sea Bass Traybake
One of my favourite fish recipes – so simple and always tastes amazing! You can switch the fish for any you like or whatever is on offer. Get the fish traybake recipe here.
Saturday – Chilli and Rice
Chilli is great for a Saturday night, you can add loads of salads, corn cobs and nachos on the side. Tasty and healthy. I make the chilli mild as I want the kids to enjoy it too. Get the chilli recipe here.
Sunday – Roast Chicken
It just wouldn’t be Sunday without roast chicken dinner.
