Super easy Italian bruschetta recipe. Our simple fig and prosciutto bruschetta make the perfect little party appetisers. 

I just love bruschetta! I love how easy they are to make and how fresh and tasty the ingredients are.

They literally burst with flavour and go perfectly with a glass of bubbles. 

Honestly, one of the most simple appetisers you can make.

Fig And Prosciutto Bruschetta Ingredients

  • 8 slices of sourdough bread
  • 3 tbsp olive oil – I don’t measure this out, I just drizzle as much as I like.
  • 1 garlic clove – peeled and left whole
  • 250g mozzarella – torn into strips
  • 4 juicy ripe figs – quartered
  • handful of basil
  • Salt and cracked black pepper – to season

Equipment Needed

  • Toaster – or you can use a grill or griddle pan
  • Tablespoon
  • Chopping board
  • Vegetable knife

How To Make Fig And Prosciutto Bruschetta

  • Lightly toast the sourdough bread.
  • Rub the surface of the bread with the garlic clove.
  • Drizzle with a little olive oil then top with mozzarella strips a slice of prosciutto, fig and some torn basil leaves.
  • Add another little drizzle of olive oil and season with salt and cracked black pepper to your liking.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices sourdough bread
