Spring clean

Put the dark winter months behind you with a big top to toe spring clean of your home. Get the windows open wide and really declutter and scrub your home until it sparkles. We've got loads of great ways to help you blast through the spring cleaning - in our clean easy tips.

Rearrange furniture

Play around with the arrangement of furniture in your key living spaces. Move the furniture from cosy, intimate winter arrangements to give rooms a more spacious, less cluttered airy feel.

Add a pop of colour

Freshen up dull paintwork, repaint your woodwork a fresh clean linen white. Maybe paint a wall a fresh, bright new colour to give a room a lift. Or treat yourself to a new piece of furniture to brighten up a dull corner and really make it pop.

Bring the outside in

Springtime is filled with beautiful flowers and natural colours and fragrances. Bring a little indoors, add vases with boughs of pussy willow, jars of springtime flowers or plant up window boxes. It all adds a pretty, springtime feel to your home.

Lighten up your fabrics and home textiles

Pack away the thick woollen blankets and throws, the heavy bedding and window dressings and switch to lighter fabrics and colours. Just something as simple as changing the cushions on the sofa or indulging yourself with some pretty fresh new bed linen can give a room a fresh springtime feel.
