fresh fruit salad pots - mini pots of fruit salad for kids to eat as grab and go snacks

Getting picky kids to eat fruit is now simple – with these fab mini fresh fruit salad pots. A great lunchbox idea and just the right portion size for kids.

These mini fresh fruit salad pots take no time at all to put together using a selection of seasonal fruits.

If there’s a fruit you cannot get fresh then simply substitute a tinned version.

Kids really love these in lunchboxes as they’re bright and colourful and taste just delicious.

To make the fresh fruit pots I used a combination of Cantaloupe melon, strawberries, blueberries and green grapes.

The lunchbox pots are the Sistema Yogurt to Go pots – they’re fab the tops screw on really tightly so no juice or yogurt leaks out into the lunch bag. And they’re a great size for a portion of fruit salad.

These little fruit salad pots are a really easy, healthy snack recipe and you can make them up in advance and store in the fridge for a few days until ready to use.

They also make a really quick healthy dessert for after dinner – maybe with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or yogurt.
