Easy Halloween Craft For Kids

Our super easy Halloween craft for kids is a brilliant low cost way to decorate your home for Halloween.

With our DIY Halloween decorations you can fill your home with strings of ghosties. Hang them all around the house ready for Halloween!

Our ghost garlands are super low cost to make and look totally fab. They cast brilliant ghostly shadows all over the walls too!

Perfect for adding a spooky vibe to your home this Halloween… as well as keeping the kids busy for an hour or two!

What You Need To Make Ghost Bunting

  • White A4 paper – just the regular printer paper is fine for this easy Halloween craft.
  • Black felt tip pen – if you’re using Sharpies, take care they don’t mark clothes or surfaces.
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch
  • String – just regular parcel string or you could even use black cotton.

How To Make Ghost Bunting

Our DIY Halloween Bunting is just super simple!

  • Put 4 or 5 sheets of A4 paper on top of one another and then cut the paper into quarters.
  • On each of the four sections draw the outline of a ghost on the top sheet of paper – do 4 different designs.

Head this way for loads more fun kids activities

  • Cut out the ghost template (keep the paper stacked together so that you cut out lots at the same time)
  • Once you have lots of ghosts – draw their faces – be imaginative!
  • Punch a hole in the top of each ghost.
  • Thread as many ghosts as you like onto your length of string.
  • Hang the garlands.
