These crispy and flavorful Greek Roasted Potatoes are the perfect side dish for any meal. And only need a few simple ingredients.

I’m going to put it out there… you seriously won’t make better roasties than these! They’re so incredible! Crispy skins, golden brown, seasoned with a tasty combo of Greek style herbs and spices. They’re the perfect roast potato. And I’m making them on repeat!

⭐️ Greek roasted potatoes taste absolutely amazing! You won’t want to make any other kind of roast potato!

⭐️ They go alongside loads of dishes, roast dinner, fish, salads, even wraps and burgers and they’re delicious hot or cold!


INGREDIENTS FOR GREEK ROASTED POTATOES

All the simple ingredients needed to make these BIG taste Greek roasted potatoes!

  • New Potatoes – skins scrubbed
  • Olive Oil
  • Butter
  • Dried Oregano
  • Dried Thyme
  • Dried Parsley
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Paprika
  • Zest of a Lemon
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

HOW TO MAKE GREEK ROASTED POTATOES

Prep Time – 10 mins / Cook Time – 45 mins (approx)

  • Prepare the potatoes – scrub the skins, then slice lengthways. Place in a saucepan of cold water with a pinch of salt.
  • Parboil the potatoes – Bring the pan to the boil, then reduce to a simmer and boil the potatoes for around 7-8 minutes until just fork tender. Drain once cooked.
  • Preheat the oven to 400F / 200C
  • Season the potatoes – Toss the par-boiled potatoes into a large mixing bowl – pour on the olive oil, add the butter, add all the herbs and seasonings and the lemon zest. Toss everything together.
  • Cook the Greek Roasted Potatoes – Tip the potatoes onto a baking sheet and cook in the oven for around 45 minutes until golden brown and crisping up deliciously. Turn the potatoes a couple of times during cooking.
  • Serve alongside dinner.

INGREDIENT SWAPS AND ADD INS

Make them spicy – fancy your Greek roasted potatoes spicy Add in a good pinch of chilli flakes.

Swap the seasoning – you can make this potato side dish to match whatever cuisine you’re cooking, want to go Italian, throw in some Italian seasoning and crushed fennel seeds. Fancy a Mexican twist? Add some chilli powder, cumin and smoked paprika. Just experiment in the kitchen and find your best flavour!

TOP TIPS FOR MAKING Roast Greek potatoes

⭐ When it comes to making these Greek roasted potatoes don’t skimp on the butter and olive oil, they’re adding some much delicious flavour! And butter roasted potatoes just hit differently!

⭐ If you don’t want to buy all the different spices, use a jar of premix Greek seasoning instead.

⭐ Leftover Greek roasted potatoes are just as delicious cold the next day and if you want truly epic leftovers, serve them with whipped feta dip! In fact it’s worth making extra just so you can!

⭐You can reheat Greek roasted potatoes in the microwave or air fryer.

⭐ Cold Greek roasted potatoes can be chopped up and made into a tasty potato salad. Use a dressing of mayo, Greek yogurt, lemon zest, garlic and fresh parsley.

Ingredients
