Healthy breakfast of berries greek yogurt and seeds, healthy breakfast ideas, family food from daisies and pie

A deliciously simple and healthy breakfast choice. Ready in just a couple of minutes and tastes heavenly.

Hardly a recipe at all but Greek yogurt with berries and seeds makes a great start to the day.

This is a fab wheat free, gluten free breakfast choice too.

This is the breakfast I eat if I’m on a health kick.

The nuts and seeds release energy slowly, the berries are beautiful and Greek yogurt thick and creamy. All help to keep me feeling full up until lunch time.

This is always a popular breakfast with older children too, usually accompanied by a pain-au-chocolate!

Greek yogurt breakfast ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of raspberries
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries
  • 1 tbs of Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp of sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp of flaked almonds
  • 1 tsp of pumpkin seeds

How to make Greek yogurt breakfast recipe

  • Wash and dry the berries – then put them into a bowl.
  • Add the yogurt and seeds – spoon over the Greek yogurt and sprinkle with the nuts and seeds.

More easy breakfast recipes to try

  • cereal sundae in a mason jar - layers of banana, greek yogurt, strawberries and blueberries
  • white plate with french toast stars and a small pot of tomato ketchup dip.
  • white plate with toasted muffins topped with sliced bananas, strawberries and blueberries to create an owl face
  • Cereal Sundae – think of this as a healthy version of an ice cream sundae. Grab yourself a glass or jar and layer up your favourite cereal, creamy thick Greek yogurt, syrup and berries for a delicious, simple breakfast idea.
  • French Toast Stars – kids just love this star shaped eggy bread, delicious served with a ketchup or BBQ sauce dip, or just drizzle with syrup.
  • Owl Toast – just the cutest breakfast ever, toast muffins and spread with peanut butter then top with sliced fruit to create a cute little owl face and features.
