Well, these delicious halloumi sticks are perfect served just as they are or dunked in the creamy yogurt dip. They’re also great as a side to any of the tasty salads and snacks below

Add breadcrumbs – if you fancy a breaded coating, dip the halloumi sticks into egg mixture, then roll in seasoned panko breadcrumbs before frying. You could also mix in some sesame seeds with the breadcrumbs for crispy halloumi fries.

Drizzle with honey – as soon as the halloumi fries come out of the pan, drizzle with some hot honey for added deliciousness!

Swap the dip – these tasty halloumi fries are delicious dipped in garlic mayo, sweet chilli dip, hummus, or even marinara sauce.

⭐Can you cook halloumi fries in the oven? Yes – you can can cook them in the oven. Heat the oven to 200C – place the floured halloumi sticks on a lightly greased non-stick oven tray and bake for around 10-15 minutes until the outside is turning golden.

⭐Can you deep fry the halloumi fries? Yes – totally. I use a Tefal Oleoclean fryer. Deep fry in vegetable oil (I use rapeseed) for around a minute or so until crisp and golden.

⭐Can you make gluten free halloumi fries? Yes – just use gluten-free plain flour and be sure your spices are gluten free too.

⭐ Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for use the next day.
