Halloween Burgers – Monster Burgers!

Create a spooky dinner with our Halloween Burgers recipe and treat your little monsters to a monster burger of their own! Super easy and totally delicious!

As soon as the first leaf falls from the trees I am in the mood for Halloween!

I like to squeeze a Halloween vibe into everything – even the food!

Our spookily cute monster burgers are just perfect for a really easy Halloween dinner idea. And who doesn’t just LOVE burger ideas?!

They look fantastic but really required very little effort or faff.

And you can make these monster burgers with beef burgers, veggie burgers or chicken burgers, whichever you prefer.

Equipment Needed

  • Grill – feel free to use a frying pan, George Foreman or even the BBQ if you prefer.
  • Chopping board
  • Sharp vegetable knife
  • Colander
  • 8 cocktail sticks
  • Serving plates

Halloween Burgers Ingredients

You’ll just LOVE how easy these quirky monster burgers are to make!

  • 4 beef burgers – feel free to swap these for veggie burgers or chicken burgers if you prefer.
  • Baby Gem Lettuce – shredded – we used Ruby Baby Gem for darker leaves
  • 1/2 red onion – sliced into half moons
  • 4 slices cheese – just choose your favourite type – we used mature Cheddar
  • 8 pimento stuffed olives – these will be the eyes
  • 4 dill pickle slices – these will be the monster tongues
  • 2 tbs tomato ketchup – to drizzle as blood

How To Make Halloween Burgers

You will just LOVE how simple our monster food is to cook up!

Step One – sizzle the burgers!

  • Cook the burgers – use whichever cooking method you prefer – grill, fry or BBQ

Step Two – get the toppings ready!

  • Prepare the burger toppings – whilst the burgers cook prepare your Monster burger toppings ready to serve.
  • Cut the cheese – cut a zigzag teeth pattern along one edge of the cheese slices.
  • Make Monster eyes – thread an olive onto the end of each cocktail stick

Step Three – create your Halloween burgers

  • Make up the Monster Burgers – slice the burger buns, add a handful of shredded lettuce to the bottom, slide on the cooked burger.
  • Drizzle over some ketchup, put the dill pickle slice in place as a tongue.
  • Place the cheese teeth on top so they hang out of the bun, add some onions and put the top of the burger bun on.
  • Stick the cocktail stick olive eyes into the top of the burger bun. Then serve!

Ingredients

  • 4 beef burgers 
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 1 baby gem lettuce - shredded 
  • 1/2 red onion - sliced 
  • 4 slices cheese 
  • 8 pimento stuffed olives 
  • 4 dill pickle slices 
  • 2 tbs tomato ketchup

Instructions

  1. Cook the burgers – use whichever cooking method you prefer – grill, fry or BBQ
  2. Prepare the burger toppings – whilst the burgers cook prepare your Monster burger toppings ready to serve.
