You’ll just need a handful of delicious healthy ingredients to make this yummy Halloween savoury snack!
- French baguettes – or use a sourdough loaf cut into circle eye shapes
- Garlic cloves – peeled and left whole – they’re for rubbing over the toasted bread.
- Mozzarella cheese – buy the long sausage shaped mozzarella and slice into thin circles
- Black olives
- Jar of chargrilled red peppers – cut into slivers ready to use as eyeball veins.
- Olive oil for drizzling

How To Make Our Halloween Appetizer Eyeball Bruschetta
You’re going to just love how spookily easy this delicious Halloween recipe is!
Step One – cut the bread – this will be the base of your Halloween eyeball
- Cut your bread into circles and lightly toast
Step Two – rub the garlic onto the bruschetta
- Rub the toasted bread with raw garlic cloves this just leaves a lovely garlicky flavour on the bread.
Step Three – add the toppings to make the Halloween eyeball
- Add a thin slice of mozzarella, top with a black olive and add strands of red pepper as veins.
- Drizzle with just a little olive oil for that authentic Italian vibe.

Ingredients
- French baguette - 12 thin slices
- 2 garlic cloves
- 250g mozzarella cut into thin circles
- 12 Black olives
- 2 chargrilled red peppers from a jar
- 1 tbs olive oil
Instructions
- Cut your bread into circles and lightly toast.
- Rub the toasted bread with raw garlic cloves.
- Add a thin slice of mozzarella, top with a black olive and add strands of red pepper as veins.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Arrange on platters.
