What You Need To Make Halloween Bat Decorations

To get started you will need:
- black A4 paper (one sheet makes 2 bats)
- white pencil
- scissors
- black cotton

How To Make Halloween Bat Decorations
Step One – prepare the black paper
- Cut the A4 sheet of black paper into halves – so you can make 2 bats.

Step Two – fold the paper
- Fold the black paper into half.

Step Three – draw the bat template
- Draw the outline of half a bat on one side of the black paper – with the centre of the bats body against the fold. It’s actually quite simple to draw a Halloween bat drawing, especially when you only have to do half!
Step Four – cut out the bat craft
- Cut the bat template out using the scissors.
Step Five – cut out a decorative design on the Halloween Bat Decorations
- Cut out decorative shapes – using the same technique used the make paper snowflakes.
- Then unfold the bat template to reveal the brilliant Halloween bat decoration!
- Just repeat this making as many bats and designs as you like!
Step Six – attach cotton to the Halloween Bat Decorations
- Tie the black cotton to the Halloween Bat Decorations – if you prefer you could use a tiny strip of sticky tape to do this.
Step Seven – hang up the Halloween bats
- Hang the bats all around the house – in windows, in little clusters in hallways. Whatever works for you.
