Our monthly homeware haul is a new little feature that’ll just round up the lovely stuff I’ve picked up for the home throughout the month.
This month I’ve been shopping in Next Home, not somewhere I’ve ever shopped for home stuff before but I thought I’d have a little mooch around and they’ve really got some lovely furniture and homewares. I think it’s a shop I’ll be popping into a whole lot more.
I’ve fallen a little bit in love with the Logan living room range. It’s got a lovely retro feel and the pieces are proportioned really well so they fit brilliantly into smaller homes, like mine.
So I picked up the Logan small sideboard priced at £299. Super easy to assemble and I’m liking the walnut tones, lots of handy storage and roomy cupboards. I’ve teamed it with the Mink Glisten Rug which is just so soft and fluffy it wants you to roll around on it. I picked up the 120cm x 170cm rug which is £85. Very reasonably priced and looks lovely.
I’ve also replaced the cushions in the living room as mine had been totally trashed with years of being turned into spaceships and dens by the kids – the new cushions again are from Next priced at £16 a cushion. They are dry clean only so they’re definitely my ‘grown up’ cushions and won’t be dragged into the garden to form any part of a den…. well for at least a couple of weeks anyway…
I also picked up a little grey table lamp in Next priced at £10, mainly because I like grey and thought it would just brighten up a little corner in the conservatory.
And whilst I was waiting to be served at the till, these mugs caught my eye, I loved the Aztec style print and summery feel, and well, you can never have enough mugs can you? Priced at £14 for four.
Last on my homeware haul list this month are these two dinky little bowls from Tesco, priced at just £1 each they scream happy, warm sunny days to me.
And they’re the perfect size for holding a few olives – am I right?
Have you bought or picked up anything nice for the home this month? We’d love to see it.
