How To Serve Honey And Mustard Sausages
Our delicious sticky sausages are perfect served in lots of ways – our favourites are below!
- Oktoberfest graze board – this is my total favourite way to eat these sausages. It’s a nice picky dinner to serve on Friday or Saturday nights. Just pile the sausages onto a platter and serve with fresh pretzels, cheese and chilli pretzels, mustard mayo and apple sauce. It goes oh so well with a beer or two.
- Sausage sandwich – stuff these glazed sausages into soft bread rolls or crusty baguettes. You could add a fried egg or hash brown too if you like, and a dollop of tomato ketchup.

Honey And Mustard Glazed Sausages Recipe Tips
Honey and mustard cocktail sausages
Use this same method to create a mini cocktail sausage version and serve as a party food. If you want to make lots, just increase the honey and mustard glaze.
How long to cook sausages in the oven
Sausages need to be cooked until the internal temperature is at least 72C and have no pink meat remaining. For chipolatas it usually takes around 30 minutes, thicker sausages will require a longer cooking time.
Tray bake sausages
Turn this into a sausage tray bake and add in par boiled potatoes, peppers and onions and cook along with the sticky sausages.
Can I make honey glazed sausages in advance?
Sure you can! You can cook these little sausages up to 24 hours in advance, chill them and then store them in an air tight container in the fridge. They’re just as delicious cold.
