How to make mulled blackcurrant drink

We’ve used Belvoir Blackcurrant cordial it tastes so good, like cordial used to taste when I was a kid!

It’s a perfect strong juicy base for mulling. Just make up your blackcurrant drink as you usually would with cold water, then pour it into a milk pan.

Add in slices of clementine, a few all spice berries, a couple of cloves and a cinnamon stick, then warm gently on the hob. Allow to cool a little, then pour through a sieve to remove the spices before drinking.

It’s the type of warming hot blackcurrant drink that’s soothing to sip if you have a cold.

How to serve mulled blackcurrant

Our hot blackcurrant drink is delicious served at winter parties or just to warm up with on cold days. It also makes a delicious alcohol free mulled wine alternative.

Allow drink to cool adequately before serving to young children.
