A delicious hot blackcurrant drink mulled with clementines and spices – perfect for warming up with on a cold day
A hot blackcurrant drink is just so comforting, perfect for curling up with on a cold day or sipping in the garden on bonfire night or after a snowy walk. Best of all our mulled blackcurrant is entirely child friendly and delicious!
How to make mulled blackcurrant drink
We’ve used Belvoir Blackcurrant cordial it tastes so good, like cordial used to taste when I was a kid! It’s a perfect strong juicy base for mulling. Just make up your blackcurrant drink as you usually would with cold water, then pour it into a milk pan.
Add in slices of clementine, a few all spice berries, a couple of cloves and a cinnamon stick, then warm gently on the hob. Allow to cool a little, then pour through a sieve to remove the spices before drinking.

- 2 shots Belvoir Blackcurrant Cordial
- Cold Water to top up
- 1 Sliced Clementine
- 4 All Spice Berries
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 4 Cloves
- Make up 2 glasses of blackcurrant juice using the cordial to your taste then pour them into the pan.
- Add the sliced clementine, cinnamon stick, all spice berries and cloves.
- Gently warm the drink on the hob. Pour through a sieve before serving.
How to serve mulled blackcurrant
Our hot blackcurrant drink is delicious served at winter parties or just to warm up with on cold days. It also makes a delicious alcohol free mulled wine alternative.
Allow drink to cool adequately before serving to young children.
