Clean your bathroom in 15 minutes with these five simple tasks
Before you make a start, throw open the windows, put on music, grab your cleaning products and set a timer, this just helps me to work faster and I like to know that I’m only going to be tidying up for 15 minutes, once that timer goes I stop.
Spritz the bath, shower and sink with bathroom cleaner
Give the bath, sink and shower a spritz with bathroom cleaner and leave it to work for a few minutes whilst you get on with cleaning the toilet (I don’t usually clean down the tiles on my 15 minute speed cleans, I usually do these once a week as part of my housework routine)
Clean the toilet
Wipe down the outside of the toilet and the seat with surface cleaner – I use antibacterial cleaner for this job. Tip some toilet bowl cleaner into the toilet and give it a quick scrub with the toilet brush.
Clean the bath, shower and sink
The cleaner will have had time to work by the time you’ve cleaned the toilet, so all that’s left here is a quick wipe down and rinse well.
Throw towels and mats into the laundry
Throw the towels and mats into the laundry bin and put out fresh ones.
Freshen the air
The window open wide will have freshened up the air, I like to add a spritz or two of homemade room freshener once I’ve cleaned a room, just for added niceness. You can get our room freshener recipe here.
Extra bathroom cleaning jobs if you’ve time….
If there’s any time left in your 15 minutes, give the mirrors a wipe down or mop the floor.
