Sharing is caring!

Get those pigs in blankets in the air fryer! It’s a super fast and easy way to cook up one of our favourite Christmas Dinner sides.

You can make a batch of homemade pigs in blankets in literally minutes using the air fryer.

And… if you’re making them yourselves you can customise them and use your favourite sausages and your favourite bacon.

They only take a couple of minutes to make and they’ll be cooked and ready to eat in about 15 minutes!

And when it comes to cooking up Christmas dinner, the oven is usually full of turkey and potatoes. So using air fryer recipes for Christmas dinner sides is a great option!

Now, we’re big believers in an imperfect Christmas! It doesn’t have to be like the advert, like the films, like your friends… Rough around the edges, mismatched and making do is our absolute go-to Christmas. Every, single year!

And that goes for all the food too. Imperfect, absolutely rustic with no neatness at all, and entirely stress free and EASY!

Equipment Needed For Pigs In Blankets In Air Fryer

  • Air fryer – we use a Tefal air fryer (Little update! – We’ve swapped to a Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer – the 9.5 litre two drawer cooking space is BRILLIANT when you’re cooking for a family. And it makes cooking meat, chicken or fish and potatoes at the same time super easy!)
  • Tongs – for turning the sausages and removing them from the air fryer without burning your hands or damaging the air fryer non stick coating, I highly recommend you get yourself a set of silicone tongs.
  • Food thermometer – I totally recommend getting yourself a food thermometer, especially for air frying, it really gives me peace of mind when cooking. I like to know that food is cooked to the right temperature.
  • Plate
  • Kitchen scissors
  • Serving platter
