Step One – season the gnocchi

  • Place the potato gnocchi into a large dish or bowl and pour over the olive oil.
  • Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, salt and garlic powder.
  • Stir the gnocchi and make sure every piece is coated in flavour.

Step Two – air fry the gnocchi

  • Spritz the air fryer basket grill plate with the olive oil spray, just a couple of squirts to stop the gnocchi sticking.

  • Then air fry at 200C for around 8-10 minutes (see cooks note below)

Cooks Note! Mini gnocchi and fresh gnocchi take less cooking time than larger and shelf-stable gnocchi so you may need to adjust your cooking times to be a little less or more depending on the type of gnocchi you’re air frying.

  • Once the gnocchi is golden brown and has a crisp texture on the outside and middle is squidgy soft it’s done.

Step Three – serve the air fryer gnocchi

  • To serve the gnocchi, first toss it into a bowl and scatter in the grated parmesan cheese, toss the gnocchi in cheese to coat it nicely. Do this whilst the gnocchi is still piping hot, then the cheese melts deliciously onto it.

Love Your Leftovers

Any leftover airfry gnocchi can be stored in and airtight container in the fridge and eaten within 24-hours. I don’t recommend re-heating leftovers as packet gnocchi is only meant to be cooked and heated once.

Our favourite way to use leftovers is to scatter the golden brown crispy little potatoes into salad as a sort of potato crouton.
