  • 300g dried pasta (we use fusilli, but any short pasta works – penne, bowties, rigatoni, even macaroni)
  • 600g passata – grab yourself a flavoured pack – the ones that come with oregano, garlic, chilli or basil in with the tomatoes. If you can’t find flavoured packs you can add a tsp of dried oregano and pinch of garlic powder or some Italian seasoning instead. Alternatively use a jar of your favourite pasta sauce or simply a jar of marinara sauce.
  • Pinch salt
  • 200g ham – any packet of sandwich ham works, if you can’t find pulled ham, just snip up a pack of ham with kitchen scissors.
  • 80g Cheddar cheese – grated ( you can swap this for grated Parmesan cheese or Mozzarella cheese if you prefer)
