Beef fried rice with leftover roast beef
Turn your leftover beef into a zingy dish of Chinese food. Stir fry your strips of beef with peas and corn and a tsp of Chinese five spice powder until they’re all heated through properly.
Add in freshly cooked hot rice and a couple of beaten eggs and stir fry until the eggs are cooked. Serve with soy sauce and prawn crackers.

Bake in the oven until the dough is cooked and the toppings properly heated throughout and the cheese bubbling.
Cottage pie with leftover roast beef
Fry onions, add strips of leftover beef and handful of frozen peas, pour over enough beef stock to just cover the pan contents.
Bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes, thicken the gravy using cornflour then put into an ovenproof dish and top with mashed potatoes – you could add grated cheese on top too….
Bake in the oven on 200C until potatoes are browning and the cheese bubbling.
Beef noodle soup using leftover roast beef
Get a pan and boil up 500ml of beef stock, add 1 tbs soy sauce, 1 tsp five spice powder and leftover shredded beef, a couple of handfuls of shredded greens or frozen peas, heat through until beef is heated through properly.
Then add a nest of rice noodles and cook for around 5 minutes. Then serve in bowls with prawn crackers and a dash of hot chilli sauce if you like.
