Hardly a recipe... BUT, we are just loving these little snack boxes. They're a great option for when the kids are off school, or if you work from home and are trying to eat a little more mindfully, and not always reach for the chocolate biscuits.

  • Small dip/dressing pots (with lids)

Hummus And Crackers Snack Box Ingredients

You'll just need a handful of tasty, healthy ingredients to make these snack boxes.

  • 8 mini crackers
  • ½ pepper - sliced into batons
  • 7 cm cucumber - sliced into batons
  • 1 carrot - sliced into batons
  • 1 tablespoon hummus - put into a dip pot
  • 30g cheddar cheese - sliced into cubes or sticks
  • Optional - strawberries or grapes

How To Make Our Hummus And Crackers Snack Box

Oh, you're going to love how easy these snack boxes are to make!

Step One - wash and chop the vegetables

  • Wash the vegetables and pat dry on the kitchen paper towel.
  • Slice into batons.

Step Two - put together the snack box

  • Make up the snack boxes - fit in the crackers, hummus pot, cheese, vegetable sticks and any fruit you're adding. (little tip... keep the crackers away from the cucumber sticks, so they don't go soggy.

Step Three - refrigerate until ready to eat

  • You can make these unto 24 hours ahead, so they're fine to be made in the evening, stored in the fridge overnight and eaten next day.
