With all the bugs around at this time of year it can’t harm to give the immune system a kick with our gorgeous green smoothie. Packed with fresh spinach, kiwi and live yogurt our super smoothie is not only delicious but it’s the only way yet I’ve ever got the kids to eat spinach!
This smoothie is bursting with superfood goodness. With iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, folate and vitamin A from the spinach. A punch of vitamin A,C and E from the kiwi. Vitamin B6 and C along with manganese, potassium and biotin from the banana. And a healthy dose of good bacteria from the natural yogurt.
Super quick to make and great alongside a dish of porridge for breakfast.
Superfood packed smoothie
- Large handful of fresh spinach
- 2 kiwi
- 2 heaped tbs natural yogurt
- Add the spinach to the blender and blitz into tiny pieces.
- Scoop the flesh from the kiwi and break up the banana add them to the blender along with the natural yogurt and blitz until smooth.
Great alongside a dish of blueberry topped porridge for breakfast.
