I just adore the scent of Lavender, I find it really relaxing, calming and soothing. Making up a bottle of Lavender linen spray is something I love to do, I spritz it lightly onto sheets or pillowcases before I store them in the airing cupboard. So not only does my airing cupboard smell divine, when I make up fresh beds they smell just gorgeous too.
If I’m feeling stressed or over-tired, I might give the sheets and pillows a little spritz with the linen spray around half an hour before I go to bed.
What you need to make Lavender linen spray
- 30ml witch hazel
- 10 drops of lavender essential oil
- 150ml water
- spray bottle
- funnel
- measuring jug
How to make Lavender linen spray
- Measure out the witch hazel and water and pour into the bottle using a small funnel.
- Add the Lavender drops.
- Screw on the lid and shake gently to mix the ingredients together.

I’m quite happy to spray linen spray, on my bedding and around my home, some of the moisture droplets does fall onto soft furnishings and furniture, this doesn’t bother me but if you have expensive items you might want to be careful and spray the linen spray away from precious items.
