A super easy lemon mayonnaise recipe – you’ll love this simple lemon salad dressing!

Lemon mayonnaise is one of the easiest and most versatile dressings you can make.

This recipe is perfect for salads, seafood dishes, and even chicken kebabs. It’s a zesty salad dressing that will add a fresh flavour to just about anything!

We use cheat ingredients to throw together this lemon mayo in literally minutes!

You can use this dressing as a dipping sauce for your favorite seafood or mix it into your favorite salad greens. Add some chopped herbs like basil or parsley for extra flavor!

Lemon Mayonnaise Ingredients

You’ll just need four ingredients to make our super quick lemon salad dressing!

  • 1 lemon – zest and juice
  • Pinch black pepper
  • Pinch sea salt

Equipment Needed

  • Small bowl
  • Grater
  • Sharp knife
  • Chopping board
  • Juicer
  • Small spoon

How To Make Lemon Mayonnaise

Our quick and easy cheat recipe for flavoured mayonnaise, means it’s ready fast and there’s very little to do!

Step One – Zest and juice the lemon

  • Grate the zest off the lemon and put to the side.
  • Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice using juicer

Step Two – Make the lemon flavoured mayonnaise

  • Squeeze the mayonnaise not a small bowl.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Next add in the lemon juice – add a little at a time until you have the consistency you want. If I’m using this as a dip I just add a little lemon juice, if I want to drizzle it, then I add more.
  • Add half the zest and mix everything together.

Step Three – Serve

  • Tip the lemon mayonnaise into a serving bowl and scatter over the rest of the lemon zest to decorate.
