How To Make Mince Pasta Bake
You'll love how simple our yummy pasta bake is to make!
Step One - brown the mince
- Add the olive oil to a skillet pan over a medium heat and gently fry the onions for 5 minutes.
- Tip in the mince and break it up with the spoon into small pieces, fry with the onions for 3-4 minutes until the mince is brown.

Step Two - Make up the mince pasta sauce
- Tip in the grated carrots - give everything a stir.
- Pour in the passata - it might look too saucy BUT, I think with pasta bake a little extra sauce is a good thing and gives you something to mop up with garlic bread slices...

Turkey mince pasta bake
Switch the beef mince for turkey mince. Add in an extra teaspoon of Italian herbs and a teaspoon of smoked paprika. Turkey mince can be bland and the extra herbs and spices will give it a kick.
Pork mince pasta bake
You can easily switch out the beef mince for pork. When I cook this with pork, sometimes I do it fully pork, sometimes I do a half and half mix of pork and beef.
I add in a ½ teaspoon of dried sage, a teaspoon of brown sugar and a bay leaf into the sauce. It just adds an extra depth of flavour.

Spicy mince pasta bake
To really give your beef mince dish a kick of spicy flavour - add in a freshly chopped chilli, ½ teaspoon of cumin and a pinch of dried chilli flakes.
