Revamp your lunch with our delicious, easy-to-make chopped chicken Caesar salad bagel. Packed with protein and flavor!

⭐️ Well… I mean the only thing better than Caesar salad is a chicken Caesar salad right? And our chopped version gives you all of the flavors in one mouthful, stuff it in a lightly toasted bagel and well… HEAVEN!

⭐️ Our chopped chicken Caesar salad bagels are super easy to make, proper messy, delicious food!

⭐️ They’re packed with protein, and make a great pre or post gym snack too! Plus you can wrap it up and pop in a lunchbox to eat on the go.

Everything you need to make two loaded chopped chicken salad bagels. For full quantities see recipe card below.

  • Bagels – any you like, white, wholegrain, multi seed, sourdough – just pick your favourite.
  • Cooked chicken breasts – we use the air fryer chicken breast recipe here
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Anchovies
  • Mayonnaise
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Seasoning
  • Chopping board
  • Sharp knife
  • Toaster or grill (for toasting the bagels)
  • Spoon

If you’re a neat cook, this is really going to go against everything you ‘feel’ BUT, go with it! Throw all those ingredients onto your wooden chopping board and keep chopping until it’s spreadable. Toast you bagel and load it up!

These tasty chopped chicken Caesar salad bagels go with literally anything on the side! They’re super tasty with fries, wedges or herby diced potatoes. Add some pasta salad or even just some potato chips.

And if you’re feeling all healthy, then throw together a veggie sticks and dip pot or fruit platter or quick fruit salad pot.

  • Use turkey or salmon in place of the chicken breasts.
  • Add a kick of heat with a dash of tabasco sauce in the mayonnaise.
  • Eat the salad as it is, skip the bagel.
  • Scoop it up with nachos… believe me it’s a good thing!

⭐️ Be messy! Throw it all on and chop it up enthusiastically (it’ll taste better that way)

⭐️ Leftover chopped chicken Caesar salad can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours.

⭐️ Use any leftover salad in wraps, more chopped chicken Caesar salad bagels, to load into baked potatoes or just as a regular sandwich filler.

Chopped Chicken Caesar Salad Bagels

Our chopped chicken Caesar salad bagels are super easy to make, proper messy, delicious food!


  • 2 bagels - toasted and buttered to your liking
  • 2 cooked chicken breasts (see note below)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 anchovies (from a can or jar)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (more if you like)
  • 2 cups Iceberg lettuce
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch black pepper


  1. Grab a wooden board and place all your ingredients onto it (top tip here, you'll need a larger board than you think!)
  2. Then using a sharp knife keep chopping and mixing through the ingredients until you have a spoonable filling.
  3. Toast and butter your bagels, load them up with the filling and dig in!


We use the air fryer chicken breasts recipe for our cooked chicken breasts.
