How long do the Mud & Bloom boxes take to do?
We’ve stretched out Mud & Bloom box out throughout the whole of April – doing the activities in amongst everything else in life. It’s been lovely to spend time just focussed on nature activities and they do inspire genuine interest from kids – yes… even the screen addicts!
Our favourite nature activities from the Mud & Bloom kids subscription box
This was super fun because wheatgrass grows impressively quickly so it’s great for keeping kids focussed and interested.
Making a water cycle bracelet
This was a lovely activity and we loved the way that Mud & Bloom tied in the water cycle with a jewellery making craft. It’s a good activity for a quiet, calm half hour!
Kids always love nature trails it’s a natural thing for them to explore and hunt things out to look at – the nature trail gave us things to spot out that we probably would have overlooked.
We had to plant our carrots in little pots to start them off as our vegetable patch troughs hadn’t arrived – so once they sprout we’ll move them over to grow properly!
We’ve still got the puddle activity to do because with all this gorgeous hot weather there’s just been no puddles! So as soon as it pours down we’ll be outdoors doing that.
