Pine Cone Mouse – Pine Cone Crafts for Kids

Just the sweetest little pine cone craft for kids! Turn foraged pine cones into a super cute family of pine cone mice. An autumn craft kids will just LOVE.

Pine Cone Mouse Craft

These little pine cone mice are adorable! They’re a lovely autumn craft for kids to get busy with – you could make one or you could make a whole family of pine cone mice.

What you need to make a pine cone mouse

You’ll just need a handful of craft supplies for our pine cone mouse craft

  • pine cones
  • buttons to be ears – they don’t need to match
  • ribbon to be the tail
  • brown string for the whiskers
  • scissors
  • glue dots, sticky pads or glue – whichever you prefer to use when crafting

Pine cone mouse instructions

Using the base of the pine cone as the mouses nose – wedge the buttons in using a little glue one on each side as the mouse ears.

Using a glue dot, sticky pad or glue pop the little eyes onto your mouse’s face.

Using glue dot, sticky pad or glue attach a small length of ribbon as the mouse’s tail.

Finally add a few whiskers – again use glue dot, glue or sticky pad to attach the whiskers to the mouse’s nose.

That’s all there is to it – as super simple autumn craft for little ones to enjoy.
