How To Make Creamy Prawn Spaghetti
You will just LOVE how quick and simple our creamy prawn pasta is to make
Step One - put the spaghetti on to cook
- Put the spaghetti into a pan full of boiling salted water and cook as per the packet instructions. Whilst the pasta cooks, get on and make the creamy garlic prawn sauce.
Step Two - make the creamy garlic prawn sauce

- Add the olive oil to a skillet pan over a low to medium heat and tip in the sliced garlic. Gently fry to soften and release the garlicky flavours into the olive oil.
- Next tip in the prawns and briskly stir fry in the hot garlicky oil.
- Turn up the heat and pour in the wine - it should sizzle and spit, let it cook for a minute or so on high to cook off the alcohol.
- Then reduce the heat and tip in the double cream - allow the sauce to simmer, warming the little prawns through thoroughly so they're piping hot. Season with black pepper.
Step Three - add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce
- Drain the cooked spaghetti using a colander - keep aside one tea cup of water in case you need to loosen the sauce later.
- Tip the cooked spaghetti into the pan with the creamy prawn sauce.

Step Four - toss the prawn spaghetti and creamy sauce together
- Using tongs toss the cooked spaghetti into the creamy garlic prawn sauce so that it's all coated and delicious! If the sauce needs loosening, add in a little of the reserved pasta water.
- Sprinkle over a little grating of nutmeg if using and add in the chopped flat leaf parsley.

Step Five - serve the prawn spaghetti
- Tip the prawn spaghetti into bowls and eat straight away! Mop up any juices with crusty bread.
