Find out what we thought of Prism, a brand new dishwasher tablet.
When Sainsbury’s asked us to check out the new Prism dishwasher tablets, we were more than happy to give them a go, currently I use Fairy Platinum, which can be a little expensive so I jumped at the chance of trying out a new product which claims to out-perform Fairy Platinum and cost less!
So the first night I tried out my usual Fairy Platinum, and I must say I’ve never had any issues with this brand – I put in filthy plates, dishes with dried on egg, cereal stuck to the sides, greasy roasting tins, oily blender bowls and they come out gleaming.
I don’t want to rewash things, I don’t want them soaking and hanging about, I just want to throw them in the dishwasher and for them to come out clean.
So on the second night I tried out Prism, now I really wanted to properly test it, so… I put in a sticky roasting tin with burnt greasy bits stuck onto it (now I must admit this is an old roasting tin so does have some well-used marks which have been there for years). If it got this clean I’d be 100% converted….
And…here’s the results! Everything was clean to the same standard that I usually get from Fairy Platinum. The Prism dishwasher tablets performed better than I’d expected, they have a nice fresh scent and I must admit I’m impressed.
If you want to get your hands on Prism it’s sold exclusively at Sainsbury’s – it’s available in two fragrances, lemon and original, and will retail from only £4 for a pack of 25.
